ヘンリー王子（義弟）（Prince Henry of Wales, 1984年9月15日生）

ウィリアム王子の弟で、王位継承権第3位のヘンリー。

彼は、出来のいい兄・ウィリアムと比較され、また若き日に母・ダイアナを亡くしたことで苦労を余儀なくされ、現在では問題児扱いされています。

しかし、チャリティ活動や軍務に従事をする姿を見ると、彼もまた、誠実で人間味に溢れた性格を持っていることがわかります。

ヘンリーは、兄と同じくイートン校で学び、その後オーストラリアやレソト（南アフリカ内にある国）でボランティア活動などに従事します。

ヘンリーは学業が好きではなく、近衛連隊に憧れていたので、海外で経験を積んだ後、サンドハースト王立陸軍士官学校に入学しました。

それ以降現在に至るまで、軍役一筋です。

現在の肩書きは、「Captain, The Blues and Royals attached to Army Air Corp」（陸軍航空隊付英国騎兵連隊大佐）です。

スキャンダルとは無縁の兄と比べ、ヘンリーは思春期の頃から喫煙、ドラッグ、飲酒などの問題を抱えていました。

王室メンバーとしての重圧、両親の不仲など、幼少時代から成人までの生活は非常に辛かったに違いありません。

そのことが彼を非行に走らせたのは、ある意味では仕方がない、と国民は一定の理解を示しています。

義姉となったキャサリンとは、彼女がウィリアムと結婚する以前からとても仲がよく、共にチャリティ団体を立ち上げるなど、良好な関係を築いています。

Prince Henry of Wales, the youngest brother of Prince William was third in the line of succession to the throne.
