キャサリンの白いシューズは、アレクサンダー・マックイーンのチームが制作したものです。

素材は、アイボリーのダッチェス・サテン。

このサテンの上にレースを施していますが、このレースはドレスのレースと合うようなデザインになっています。

レースは全てハンドメイドの刺繍、そして驚くことに刺繍を行ったチームは30分おきに手洗いをしてレースと糸を新品同様に保つ努力をしたそうです。

また、刺繍に使う針も3時間おきに替え、縫い目の穴を目立たなくするように徹底しました。

キャサリンのメイクは、セルフメイクです。

但し、結婚式のために、メイクアップ・アーティスト、アラベラ・プレストンの個人レッスンを受けています。

髪型を担当したのは、「リチャード・ワード・サロン」のジェームズ・プライスです。

キャサリンは今回アップスタイルではなく、髪を下げたままで極力ナチュラルな雰囲気を作ろうとしました。

そこでプライス氏が提案したのは、「デミ・シニヨン・ヘア」と呼ばれる、軽やかで大きめのウェーブを最大限に生かしたダウンスタイルです。

この髪型は、ティアラとの相性も考えられています。

メイクやヘアスタイルにも現れていますが、キャサリンは豪華な花嫁というよりも、あくまで自分らしく、ナチュラルな雰囲気にしたいと希望していました。

その結果、全体的に、さり気なさと上品さが際立つ美しいスタイルになったのです。

Catherine's white shoes was made by the team of Alexander McQueen.

Material is ivory Duchess Satin.

The race has been made on top of the satin, and this race has been designed to be suited to the lace of the dress.

The race is all hand-made embroidery, and surprisingly the team made efforts to keep the race and the thread new by washing hands every 30 minutes.

In addition, the needles used for the embroidery are changed every three hours so as to obscure the hole in the seam throughly.

Catherine put on her makeup by herself.

But, for the wedding, she have completed the individual lessons of make-up artist, Arabella Preston.

A hairdresser who was responsible for making over her hairstyle was James Price based in Richard ward Salon.

Catherine tried to make natural atmosphere with hair down style as much as possible this time rather than hair up style.

So, Mr. Pryce proposed half-up, half-down style, making the most of the light and large waves, which is referred to as the demi-chignon.

This hairstyle is also considered with the combination with the tiara.

Catherine hoped to be her natural style rather than a luxurious bride, which also appears in the makeup and hair style.

As a result, it became a beautiful style that the casualness and elegance stood out overall.
