結婚、そして現在
ウィリアムは、2003年に「カウンセラー・オブ・ステート」になり、公務デビューを果たしました。
カウンセラー・オブ・ステートは、エリザベス女王が不在の時に公務を委託される王室メンバーのことで、ウィリアムはこのことで、君主代行を務めることができる、重要なポストに就いたことになります。
それ以来、軍人として勤務する傍らで、着実に公務の実績を積み重ねてきました。
そして、2011年以降、公務を行うウィリアムのそばには常にキャサリンがいます。
母・ダイアナは、公の場でもチャールズといいパートナーになれませんでした。
しかし、両親から学んだウィリアムは、どんな場所でもキャサリンへ温かい眼差しを向け、二人三脚で公務をこなしています。
ウィリアムが王室の中でも抜群の人気を誇り、国民から信頼されているのは、両親の不仲から多くのことを学んだからです。
どうしたら幸せな家庭を築くことができるのか、どのように公務をこなしたら良いのか、ウィリアムは若いながらも本当に熟知しているのです。
2012年11月、キャサリンの妊娠が発表されました。
ウィリアムは、2013年7月には父親になる予定です。
結婚して2年にも満たない（2013年1月時点）ロイヤル・カップルは、既に「王室の顔」として世界中に受け入れられていますが、二人に子供が生まれることで、人々はよりウィリアム王子夫妻に関心を高めています。

Marriage and Now
Prince William became a Counsellor of State in 2003, and carried out his public service debut.
A Counsellor of State is the member of the royal family to whom the monarch, Elizabeth II, delegates certain state functions and powers when she is unavailable. It means that Prince William took the important post to act in the name and on behalf of the sovereign.
Since then, he has experienced steadily public services, working in military service.
And Catherine always has been with him since 2011 when William performs a public service.
His mother Diana was not able to be a good partner with Charles even in public.
However, William learned from his parents and he is always warmly watching over Catherine in any places and they work together closely for public services.
William is very popular in the royal family and trusted by the public because he learned a lot of things from the discord of his parents.
He knows very well how to build a happy family and how to perform public services although he is still young.
In November 2012, it was announced that Catherine is expecting a baby.
William will be a father in July 2013.
After the marriage, less than two years have passed in January 2013. The Royal couple has already been accepted around the world as the face of the royal family. As their baby is born to them, people are much more interested in Prince William and his wife.
